Delivery charges for non material orders e.g. fasteners /taps and dies.

Post and Packaging (P&P) is £1.35 for all small machine screws, nuts and washers. i.e. 16BA to 8BA.

For other orders containing only fasteners, taps or dies please add 10% of the order value plus 60p
to a  maximum of £4.40 (a minimum fee of £1.35 applies) to cover P&P, which will normally be by letter post (however for orders over 1Kg in weight we reserve the right to send the order by Royal Mail standard parcel service). A certificate of posting is obtained for all goods dispatched by letter post and therefore compensation to the value of £32 may be claimed for loss or damage.

We appreciate the complexity in determining P&P which was made complicated when the Royal Mail introduced charging by packet weight and size.
We will always be pleased to determine actual postal costs for your order to ensure you pay the minimum P&P.

Delivery charges for orders containing material.

For your assistance in calculating the postage fee each metal item has its unit length weight shown in grams, but please remember to include the packaging weight (see postal guide, inside back cover).

Delivery charges shown below are for material up to 600mm (24") long and sheet material up to 18"x12".  For material (bar stock) longer than 600mm please
add £1.00 per additional 300mm.
Normally for orders under 601mm and over 2kg and £10.00  no surcharge is made for packaging.
Orders greater than 30Kg  or including an area of sheet may require an additional delivery and  packaging fee.

Fasteners ordered together with metal over 2Kg are normally delivered free.  Otherwise, please add the metal order delivery fee (shown below) together
with 10% of the fasteners order value (to a maximum delivery fee of £8.50 for Zone1  any surplus will be credited to your next order).

Orders over 2kg are normally delivered by Parcel Force,  goods dispatched by Parcel Force include a pre-set level of insurance, should enhanced compensation be required this must be requested at the time of ordering and the appropriate fee paid (see back cover).
