The majority of our Stainless is Austenitic 303 grade - a free machining version of 304.

Austenitic Grades
These are theoretically non-magnetic and have good corrosion resistance.

303 (1.4305)  Free Machining version of 304 with sulphur added, but less corrosion resistance. Not recommended for bending or welding.

304L (1.4301) Good for bending and welding, corrosion resistant for the majority of applications.

316L (1.4404) Molybdenum added for higher corrosion resistance, food and marine applications. Good for welding.

321 (1.4541) Titanium bearing for good welding and heat resistance.
